Repost from @soapwalla:
It's been a tough couple days. We've struggled here at the Soapwalla studio with what to say, and how to say it. Words don't always feel like enough.
A lot of people, us included, are angry and sad and scared. And motivated.
We're lucky enough to live in New York City, a place filled with people from all corners of the Earth and all walks of life, living (mostly) peaceably with one another. It's the greatest gift this city gives us inhabitants - a truly multi-faceted way of seeing the world. We don't have to confront hatred and violence on a daily basis, and for that we are truly grateful. But our faiths and identities were on the front lines this weekend, attacked first by hateful, noxious groups, and again by the leaders who failed to denounce such heinousness.
We're not feeling terribly eloquent. But we really just wanted to say that we at Soapwalla stand tall and proud next to you. We fight hatred with love. We fight silence with words. 💙
