Made some magical memories, and did some serious numbers with these two mugs in the city I love. I've always said, timing is everything, and I think it's time.
One of the best things about a residency, is that it means you can break new music in your Dj sets, well for me it is anyway. If I think a track is worthy, I'll play it early doors, then once more at the appropriate part I'd like it to be in future power hour sets. If your ear is right, and you know a banger when you receive one, by the 2nd week, a lot of your crowd will know that shit, trust me. Shazam'ing in the club is a real thing guys, the game has changed. Don't be afraid to play new music, if the crowd haven't got the patience to stick with you for a quick new verse and hook, then you probably shouldn't be playing there, and they can suck a fat one. On the other hand, if your not in a great financial position and you need the money, just quickly play a Beyoncé song and you'll get them back to it in no time!
