I love teaching at the Sky Garden @sg_skygarden
it is always so powerful when so many people come to practice so high up, overlooking the city.
It is poignant, that despite all the fear with the terror attacks, we must rise above it, literally.
I know it is hard, I am scared too. City living is full on, no questions asked. But there are also lots of incredible people doing incredible things and we must not forget that. However hard we must continue to see the joy, beauty and connections that are all around us too. Humans fundamentally want to be good, do good. It is only out of fear that troubles starts.
So collectively we must work to meet every situation with love. What if every action/ thought/ work we spoke came from a place of love... what would the world be like?
I am very much speaking to myself as I write this too, I have a long way to go. A quote that keeps coming into my mind is from Hafiz: "How can I be more loving? How can I be more kind?" Hope you are enjoying the sunshine. If you want to pause I have a workshop on Monday to get a bit of space in city. Details on website. Love love xxx
