Mark 6:36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
Understanding and recognizing the voice of God in a challenging circumstance is key to knowing what to do and how to act in such moments. This is because, there are many voices and some can be mistaken for His.
If these people had heard the disciples and acted on their words, they could have concluded that as the Lord's word or His actual intent for them. There are many voices ranging from our fears, to people we hold in high esteem and some of these voices come before His, such that we can easily conclude them as His and as such, we must be certain it is His word we are acting on.
The words of the disciples sounded like they were caring and full of concern for the people but underneath, there was a strong clause of they not ready to take responsibility for what might become of the people. The word/intent of God is more than corcern even in our lowest state.
No matter the circumstance, the voice of God is never the one of rejection, lacking responsibility and without concern and possible solution. He cares so much that He cannot abandon us to the weariness that came as a result of our search for Him. May this thought fill your heart today as you open yourself for His word.
Do have a lovely day and enjoy grace.
Read Mark 6.
Pray this prayer: Father, thank You for taking responsibility for my body, soul and spirit and for not abandoning me every time I got weary.
