⚡️These two types of cardio exercises are beneficial for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're just trying to keep healthy, get in shape, improve cv fitness or lose fat whilst maintaining muscle. With HIIT's great benefits such as shorter workouts making it easier to fit into your sessions,
👨🏼💻According to some re search, intervals are far more efficient than steady cardio when it comes to shredding off the fat. If this is your goal plus maintaining muscle, LISS may seem affective in the short term of your cycle, but further on HIIT is suggested for sustained long term fat loss as well as enhancing muscle gain. The most important thing is to make sure you use them in your training programme correctly to get the best out of both of them
⏳Just like everything else, there is also a point when your body gets used to your cardio training and hits a plateau. With 1-2 HIIT AND 2 LISS sessions per week, this will contribute nicely to weight loss and maintenance of muscle over time
