Completed in the 13th century, the Qutb Minar is a minaret that was constructed by Qutb Ud-Din-Aibak to showcase the victory of Islam. Though started by Aibak in 1199 CE, the Minar was completed by Aibak’s successor Iltutmish in 1220 CE.
Standing at a height of 240 feet, the Qutb Minar is an iconic sight in the South Delhi skyline.
