Fun days with these creepy bones in the first year .. haha i still remember how I used to point landmarks and separate all the itsy-bitsy parts of this skull to understand the microstructure and connections between the adjacent bones.. Plus the attachments and all the stuff passing from each minute passage in between .. LMAO tbh I still don't really know the all of it .. hope I make it to the point soon 🙈🙈🙈
The best way to learn the entire anatomy of bones with its relations is to "understand" it point by point. Don't grasp things. If you do, you will forget it in some time or the other.
Take a bone, for example the femur ( my favorite ) and start learning it in parts. Do the head and neck today, shaft tomorrow, and leave the distal end for another day. So today you do the basic anatomy of head and neck and its relations with acetabulum, the hip joint, muscles and nerves and vessels that attach/pass nearby. Make separate points for each side. Once you are done with normal anatomy and physiology, now imagine what would occur if there is slightest displacement of femoral head from acetabulum.. why and how would it occur.. ask questions to your self repeatedly. Trust me, there is no literal full stop to the study of bones. But not to worry, if you do it step by step, you will surely retain the basics forever.
Ps: Anatomy is the basic for learning Physiology.. and physiology forms the basis of Pathology and then Medicine. So learn the subjects in a related manner. :) #helloworld #mypixeldiary #life #medicalstudent #medlife #funnybone #humerus #skull #bones #femur #myfav #anatomy #structure #function #physiology #firstyear #attachments #muscles #understanding #must #like4like #follow4follow #follow4like
