One of the ways I try to open my stubborn upper back and shoulders is to use a sofa or couch. This technique I do on a daily basis because it's the area where I need to focus on the most in my practice. .

Last time I tried this pose was 9 months ago when I was in the U.S. on vacation. I remember I was not able to bend my back enough to touch my fingers to the ground. It was such a struggle. Today my fingers easily touched the ground. This for me is HUGE progress. It tells me that there is hope for my shoulder blade problem. #overthemoon
