I had such a great time today with friends. We took road trip to see our friends (my cousin and his wife) yesterday then heading to do kayaking at our favorite place this morning. And of course I had to find a spot to #strikepose for yoga challenge and #sdy 😝.
I wanted to do headstand for @linachristianto but couldn't find any convenient spot 🤣 so this twist goes for her instead.
Now would like to ask @bethanysmithyoga to #stopdropandyoga at any convenience 🙏🏽.
Tis the season for busyness to eat away at my practice time. I am amazed that I have not exploded into a fiery ball of flames yet. 😥
Thankful that @jackng51 will be taking over my class tomorrow. I find it super hard to teach when I have not been practising myself. It is like a chef attemping to whip up a good meal while his stomach growls from hunger. How can one create anything good when one is malnourished? 😩
One more week till this madness dies down. I hope for the time and energy to squeeze in a class this week.

DAY 104 // Supta Jathara Parivartanasana // Supine Spinal Twist
Had to wait 104 days to share my favourite pose!!! I can't go a day without doing this one. .
Lie on your back, arms out in a T. Plant your feet on your mat, knees bent. Let them fall to one side on an exhale. Inhale back to centre. Exhale other side. Windshield wiper your legs to release any tension in the low back. Then, pick up your hips and put them down a little to the right. Cross your right leg over your left and twist the spine to let the knees down on the left. Keep the right shoulder blade on the mat. Look to the right if it's comfortable for your neck. If you want to add on to the spinal twist, hold the top of your left foot with your right hand and extend the right leg holding the big toe with your left hand. ✨
