"Carbs cannot make you fat" #whatthehealth#whatthehell yep, we do have storage for carbs in our muscles and liver and carbs are used for energy BUT carbs CAN AND ARE stored as FAT. If you eat too many carbs (aka eat carbohydrates in a caloric surplus) your body is very able to store these as fat. Sugar IS a risk factor for diabetes because it is very easy to over consume, resulting in a calorie surplus and therefore weight gain. The what the health documentary is perhaps well intentioned and it IS important to spotlight the good a healthy diet can do BUT that being said some of the claims being made on this program are just plain stupid..."carbs cannot make you fat" this is both factually incorrect and dangerous advice to be giving out. Carbs can and will make you fat if you eat too many. 🍍🍌🍞🥞 #pleasebringbackscience
