What a week it has been! Last Saturday I went to urgent care for some pain in my upper abdomen that was radiating into my back. I was told it was a bad acid reflux and was sent home with medication. Fast forward to Tuesday and I woke up to the worst pain in my stomach, but I was going to try and push through the day. I got sick at work and went to the ER only to find out that I have gallstones. So tomorrow, I am having surgery to have my gallbladder removed. I leave for a 2 week trip to Africa in 5 weeks. If you think of it, please say a prayer for me around noon tomorrow!
