I had a hectic couple of days (tons of makeup work and travelling from place to place from morning till evening, dragging heavy kit all over the places, stuck in traffic), and that is not ideal time to fast but I managed fasting since New Moon on Friday.
I planned only 1 day but since I have been so busy it was actually easier and I carried on today as well.
I used to do a New & Full moon fasts regularly for mainly health reasons (giving the digestive system a break or heal something) but lately I have noticed I appreciate more the clarity of the mind during the fasting and condition of my skin!
I had no time for myself in the last two days and by that I mean not even 5mins to spare to sip a green tea and stare into the sky...🙈 or post something. And I needed a recharge time more than anything.
I made up for it with some mantras and affirmations in the car whilst driving. That probably helped to keep me sane and uplifted. ✌️
