Helen update. Yesterday she saw an eye specialist who determined that due to a birth defect, Helen's corneas are opaque and her eyes do not react to light. She is also missing part of her upper eyelids. The specialist confirmed she will need surgery to remove her eyes when she is a little older.
The good news is, Helen is otherwise healthy, playful, & totally adorable. She plays with toys and kittens, snuggles and purrs with foster mom, and even finds the litter box by herself!
