So over the past year or so, Ive always had people questioning about protein, about consuming too much or it being full of sugar etc.
First of all, with any food or supplement the problem isn't with taking it, the problem is taking too much on top of having too much to eat.
➖When a person consumes too many calories in a day and on top of that, is putting back 2/3 shakes, inevitably your going to start putting on weight.
➖Now comes the "how". How do I take protein?
You consume protein when your nutrition isn't on point. Say your average protein intake daily is 260g but your only meeting 230, this is where the shake comes in!➖Supplementation, I don't believe in banging back every supplement on the shelf , everything we need can be consumed on a whole basis in nutritious foods. Supplements are purely there to help you incase your missing that last step.
Most wheys are reasonable in sugar intake but just read the label before you purchase.
The average whey shake with ▶️water◀️ is in around 100kcals.
▪️Benefits of whey:
☑️Increases protein intake.
☑️Helps increase calories if in a deficit.
